In the post-postmodern age (a term coined by Alan Kirby and others), words have become more powerful, determining the rise and fall of individuals and even entire enterprises (cancel culture).
The war waged in our age is a war of words. In our age, a "wrong" post on X or social media may undermine a nation's sovereignty. Leaders of nations are bypassing traditional diplomatic communication channels to directly reach their followers.
Words are powerful.
I’ve developed a habit of highlighting new words, hoping to incorporate them into my writing or simply for fun. Some of these words are archaic; I had to use https://www.etymonline.com to determine their meanings.
